The Why

Guest footage is different.

A professional videographer is working. They’re framing shots, managing audio, watching the clock. They’re doing their job beautifully — and that’s exactly why they can’t film what your guests film.

Your dad filming your first dance from across the room. Your maid of honor catching your mom cry during the toast. The moment your college roommate realizes the open bar closes at midnight. That footage doesn’t exist unless someone who actually cares is holding the camera.

Most videographers deliver in four to eight weeks. We deliver a sneak peek in 72 hours and the full film in seven days. It costs less than a dress alteration.

“It really was the phone.”

“The footage my dad got was better than anything the videographer filmed.”

100+ Weddings Filmed

I’ve filmed over a hundred weddings. And the thing I hear most, every single time, is “I wish we had more of the candid stuff.”

The professional footage is beautiful. But it’s curated. It’s the ceremony from the right angle, the first dance with the right light. It’s not your college roommate crying at the bar during the father-daughter dance. It’s not your grandmother dancing at 11pm when she thought nobody was watching.

I built Tape & Toast because that footage deserves to exist. And because the only way to get it is to put cameras in the hands of the people who actually care.

Every film we deliver is edited by me personally. Not outsourced. Not automated. I watch every minute of footage, and I make something you’ll still be watching in 20 years.

Quick Answers

A few things people ask.

What if my guests don’t know how to use the cameras?

The whole job is six rules and a 90-second video. We’ve designed the cameras to be idiot-proof on purpose. The footage we get is rarely ‘bad’ — it’s just real. That’s the entire point.

What is a CampSnap CS8?

The CampSnap CS8 is a no-screen, no-distraction digital camera designed to be handed to guests. No settings to fiddle with. No selfie temptation. Just point and shoot. It captures the candid, unposed moments that phones miss because guests are too busy posting.

What happens if a camera gets damaged?

The cameras are insured. If one fails on the wedding day due to a defect, you get a full refund. If a guest drops one on the dance floor, that’s covered too.

How far in advance do I need to book?

As early as possible — we cap at 12 weddings per month and Saturdays in May, June, September, and October fill first. We recommend booking 3–6 months out minimum.
